Millions of people all over the world want to lose weight and search for the best way to burn fat. They look for the best diet, exercise or the latest weight loss pill. But why not keep it simple and natural?
Natural solutions most of the time are very useful and more effective than other methods. One of the natural ways to lose weight and used for very long time may be centuries is fasting. Actually not too many people use this way to lose weight although it is very effective.
Prophet Muhammed, the prophet of Islam, said something in the meaning of that the worst vessel to fill is the stomach. Actually this saying is so correct as fasting which means not filling your stomach has a lot of health benefits.
Fasting can be done by a number of ways each one of them is useful for something. I will mention few of them:
1- Water Fast: fasting totally from water is one of the types of fasting that you can do. You should not go to an extreme level for example don’t water fast more than three days. Actually I don’t recommend this one as except if you are going to fast 12 hour a day and drink normally the other 12 hours as water is very important to our bodies and we need to lose weight by burning extra fat not just losing weight.
2- Juice Fasting: This one is very good and easy for many people who want to lose weight. How it works? Simply juice cantains sugar and sugar is the number one enemy of weight loss, when you consume more sugar than your body needs it will be stored in the body as fat. Sugar in the juice is very easy to be digested and absorbed to your blood which add high dose of sugar in short time and your body don’t need all this sugar so the normal action is that the body stores extra sugar in the form of fat. So you can avoid gaining this easy to gain fat and help your body lose weight by burning extra fat to provide its needs of energy by fasting from juice.
3- Dry Fast: this is simply eating only dry fruits. To do that you should eat dry fruits only for about three days and then break your fast with a laxative. This is not well known type although it is said that it has very god results.
4- Complete Fast: this one actually is made by Muslims every year in a month called Ramadan. They don’t eat or drink anything from the dawn to the sunset then break this fast by a fruit, cub of milk or water and then go to pray (don’t give your body a lot of calories after this long fast) then they eat the main meal like the lunch in other days, they eat the other meal just before the dawn. So two meals separated by about 12 hours of complete fasting. This actually has a lot of health benefits one of them is to lose weight. You can fast this way and take advantage of it.
